Care & Maintenance
Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap, and dry immediately — never leave a blade soaking or run it through a dishwasher. Wipe on a light coat of food-grade mineral oil after use to protect the steel, and store it dry in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip. A few seconds of care after each use keeps a hand-forged edge true for decades.

Make it truly yours — we can engrave a name, date, monogram, or graphic on most of our blades using a 50-watt fiber laser for crisp, permanent detail.

A full-grain leather apron built for the grill, the smoker, or the kitchen — adjustable buckle straps, a heavy front pocket, Every apron is finished with our leather Northbound Blade patch and only gets better looking with age. Available in three colors: black, brown, and tan.
The details: Full-grain leather, finished with a distressed, broken-in look from day one. Adjustable buckle neck strap for a comfortable fit. Front pocket for tools, a thermometer, or your phone, plus a dedicated knife pocket. Available in two height-based sizes — choose according to your height using the measurements below. Wipe clean and condition with a leather balm every few months to keep it supple.
