Care & Maintenance
Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap, and dry immediately — never leave a blade soaking or run it through a dishwasher. Wipe on a light coat of food-grade mineral oil after use to protect the steel, and store it dry in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip. A few seconds of care after each use keeps a hand-forged edge true for decades.

Clean fillets, with a splash of colour.
A slim, flexible, hand-forged Damascus fillet knife for preparing fish at home: lifting fillets off the bone, removing skin, and trimming salmon, trout and whitefish on your cutting board.
- 7-inch flexible Damascus blade: it bends along the backbone and under the skin so you waste less fish, with a fine, slightly upswept tip for working along the bones.
- Two-tone handle: deep blue wood and rosewood, joined by a file-worked brass spacer and finished with brass pins.
- Leather sheath included. Choose the gift box option for a ready-to-give present.
- Free engraving on the blade (up to 20 characters) or on the leather sheath. Engraving adds 2 business days; personalised knives are final sale.
Specs: blade 7 in (17.8 cm), flexible · handle 5.5 in (14 cm) · overall 12.5 in (31.8 cm) · Damascus steel · blue wood and rosewood handle · brass spacer and pins.

01 — Forged
Shaped at the anvil
Bar stock is heated and hammered to shape by hand — every bevel drawn out at the anvil, never stamped from a sheet.
02 — Tempered
Hardened true
Each blade is hardened and tempered in controlled cycles, balancing a keen, hard edge with a resilient spine.
03 — Finished
Fitted & inspected
Ground, polished and fitted with its handle, then inspected edge to pommel before it ever leaves the forge.
