Northbound Blade started at a single anvil, with one rule that's never changed: forge by hand, temper it true, and build each piece for exactly what it's meant to do — a chef's edge in the kitchen, a fixed blade in the field, a display piece for the collector's shelf.
Nothing we make is built or sold as a weapon. Our outdoor line is fixed-blade only, and our sword line is finished purely for display, cosplay, and collecting.
Good to know
We ship tracked across Canada and the USA. Shipping is free on orders over $150; below that, rates are calculated at checkout. In-stock pieces leave the forge within a few business days, and made-to-order pieces take a little longer — we'll keep you posted along the way.
Yes — most of our pieces can be engraved with a name, date, monogram, or graphic using a 50-watt fiber laser for crisp, permanent detail. Just email us your engraving details after placing your order and we'll take care of the rest. Engraved pieces make exceptional wedding, anniversary, and retirement gifts.
Our collectible swords and fantasy axes are display-grade replicas, finished for cosplay, collecting, and shelf display — not for use. Our culinary knives and fixed-blade outdoor tools, on the other hand, are fully functional working tools, forged and tempered for the kitchen and the field.
Hand wash with warm water and mild soap, dry immediately, and wipe on a light coat of food-grade mineral oil after use. Never soak a blade or run it through a dishwasher, and store it dry in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip. See our Knife Care guide for the full routine.
