Where do you ship, and how much does it cost?

We ship tracked across Canada, USA and Europe. Shipping is free on orders over $150 for US & Canada; below that, rates are calculated at checkout. In-stock pieces leave the forge within a few business days, and made-to-order pieces take a little longer — we'll keep you posted along the way.
Can I personalise a blade with engraving?

Add free engraving with the engraving option on the product page — up to 20 characters on the blade, or engrave the leather sheath. Adds 2 business days. Engraved pieces are final sale. For any other engraving request, email us at info@northboundblade.com.
How do I care for a hand-forged blade?

Hand wash with warm water and mild soap, dry immediately, and wipe on a light coat of food-grade mineral oil after use. Never soak a blade or run it through a dishwasher, and store it dry in a sheath, knife roll, or on a magnetic strip. See our Knife Care guide for the full routine.
Is there an age requirement to order?

Yes — you must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to purchase and receive our products, and it's the buyer's responsibility to know their local laws. Full details are on our Legal & Age Requirements page.
